Bob is a member of CPG’s writing team, and holds the Master Military Resume Writer (MMRW) and Master Federal Resume Writer credentials, as well as the Master Federal Career Advisor certifications. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Marquette University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Bob is a versatile writer with decades of professional communications and marketing experience. He has collaborated with a diverse range of people from around the world. He understands military and government service extremely well, serving two tours of duty in the Army Reserves, totaling 14 years in the military. He spent six of those years as a Drill Sergeant and attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. His service also included a yearlong deployment in Nasiriyah, Iraq, serving as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of a battalion-level convoy operations center.

Bob was awarded a Bronze Star for exemplary service in Iraq, and upon returning home he took on the role of Director of Research and Communications for an international training organization serving over 1,000,000 learners each year. Throughout his military and civilian careers, he often provided professional guidance and counseling to assist co-workers as they looked to develop and expand both their civilian and military careers. In 2008, Bob decided to leave the military to focus more on his family and pursue his professional career goals.
