Stefanie is a former U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer (Active Duty) who served for more than 16 years as a Journalist, Broadcaster, and Mass Communication Specialist. She was stationed at numerous commands, including Sasebo, Japan; Norfolk, VA; and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

With her experience and expertise as a senior leader and trainer, her skills as a writer, editor, and researcher for countless news articles, performance evaluations, and letters of recommendation, set the standard for excellence in written communication among her peers. In her roles, she has provided oversight for hundreds of junior service members and officers, providing career counseling and transition assistance and guidance. Following her departure from the U.S. Navy in 2012, she worked as the Communications Manager for one of the largest retail real estate development companies on the East Coast. There, she used her skills to develop and execute internal communications programs, ensuring coordinated messaging, product marketing, and training reached more than 300 employees in over 8 regional offices.
