    Nancy, I wanted to let you know that I was selected for USDA SES CDP. There were over 650 applicants and in the end USDA selected 78 participants for the SES CDP. There will be 4 cohorts of 19/20 members and I'm in the first cohort. We were notified in late July and orientation for the first cohort was August 3 and 4. Our first class at American University starts tomorrow. There will be a total of 8 week long courses over the next 11 months. I will be done with this coursework on June 22nd.      I tried writing my own resume and although the effort provided me some needed insights...it didn't produce an effective or professionally appealing product.      From rejected ECQs to SES: I was very pleased with your service. The ECQs I initially submitted were rejected by OPM. I contacted your company since I only had one more opportunity with OPM. My writer Lee did a good job enhancing my ECQs to meet OPM's standards. He provided candid feedback as he worked to improve my written narratives. I wanted my ECQs within 10 days, and Lee delivered my updated ECQs within my specified timeframe. I became a SES member after OPM approved my modified ECQs.

     Bruce, Know it has been a while, but wanted to let you know the status of the selection process for the job. I was notified that I have been selected and given a tentative offer. The process that must now be completed is that I have to have my financial and security clearances validated and the ECQs approved by OPM.

Hello!  I just was called by Commerce for an interview on Monday.  I am already nervous, but this is exactly what I wanted.

     SES Project: I had an interview on Monday, 2 November --- on Tues the 3rd one of the panel members called 3 of my references. According to the interview panel, the position is blessed by OPM and after the interview they mentioned they would finish their paperwork and forward it to OPM. I think these are promising signs? I'm proud of our work together - if nothing else I got an interview right out of the gate! That's fantastic.

     Fran: I have been qualified and referred on two positions since you did my resume and ECQs. One is a supervisory position in the Judicial Federal Court as the Continuity of Operations Supervisor and the other is a Management Program Analyst. Both of the positions are GS-15.

I am presently in the running for two targeted positions and should hear this week after two interviews. I am also applying for a similar positioin since it is only 3 hours from my present location. For this job announcement, the agency eliminated one and added a new KSA, Technical Knowledge.

I contacted Lisa this past Tuesday and we worked together to get this new KSA written and sized to fit the new agency requirements which are to post on line and have them fit within a certain character count. She completed this in under three days start to finish with editing and I am ready to forward my packet to the agency today, the deadline is Monday 16 June. Super Job!

I wanted to also mention that while I was being interviewed by a senior director, he commented during the interview that my Fed Resume was one of the best he had ever seen and stated, " it was easy to read, informative and very well formatted".

Thought you should know since Lisa seems to have spent the appropriate time ensuring all goes well at screening with the agency recruitment center and OPM getting certified resumes as well as with hiring officials that like her products.

I called CareerPro Global after looking on the internet for help with an SES package.
